Administrative Adjudication Hearings can be utilized for non-criminal offenses that are punishable only by fine, and are heard in front of an adjudication hearing officer, an attorney licensed by the State of Illinois, who listens to evidence presented by the Village and by the respondent and makes a determination of liability.  Respondents found liable at adjudication will be assessed $50 court costs in addition to the cost of the violation. Illinois statute allows for an appeal of the adjudication hearing officer’s determination in the circuit court.

Administrative Adjudication Hearings are held once a month on the second Thursday, at 2:00 pm, at the Village Municipal Center, 555 Reinking Rd., Pingree Grove, IL 60140.  If the second Thursday falls on a holiday, the hearing will be rescheduled, and the dates will be reflected accordingly on the citation.

No Response

If one does not pay the ticket and/or does not attend the Administrative Adjudication Hearing, they will be found liable by default for the violation and have to pay court fees in addition to the original citation fee.
