Parks

There are various parks throughout the Village.  The Village's Public Works Department is responsible for maintaing the following park locations:

  • Centenial Park - Reinking & Norfolk
  • Wester Reinking - Wester & Reinking
  • School Park - Wester & Campus Dr
  • Water Tower Park - Diamond Hear Trail & Promontory Dr
  • Rec Center Park - Wester & Birchwood
  • Skate Park - Wester & Alta Vista (NWLL Maintains  Ball Fields)
  • Baseball Complex - Wester & Cambridge Lakes Drive (NWLL Maintains  Ball Fields)
  • Parkside Baseball Complex - Daniel Blvd & Richard J Brown (NWLL Maintains  Ball Fields)

All other pocket parks are maintained by the respective HOAs.  

On October 20, 2025, the Village Board of Trustees approved an Amendment to the Cambride Lakes North No. 2 Annexation Agreement with DR Horton, that includes the development of  the "Fire Station Park."  This new park will be  developed at the southwest corner of Reinking Road and Daniel Boulevard.  Below is a plan rendering which includes a covered band shell and restroom facilities.  Construction is planned for summer 2026.
